Malegra is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains the active ingredient sildenafil citrate, which is the same active compound found in Viagra. Sildenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor, meaning it works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual arousal. Malegra typically starts working within 30 to 60 minutes after ingestion, and its effects can last up to 4–6 hours. It is important to note that sexual stimulation is still required for Malegra to be effective; the medication does not induce an erection without sexual arousal.
